Empirical Tribe gets back to business tomorrow night after going through their second lineup change of 2012. The band comprises of Gregory Fancon on Vocals, Rocky Lyngdoh Mawphlang on Guitar, Banshan Nongkhlaw on Drums and the newest member to the band, Khlain Ryntathiang replacing John Lyngdoh on Bass Guitar. It may be mentioned that Empirical Tribe won the Autumn Music Festival Competition 2011, a national level contest organized by the American Consulate, Kolkata. On an interview with the Gregory from the band, this is what he had to say:
“We are overwhelmed at the tremendous support we are getting from you guys (Rockski Group). We have been off stage ever since the World Music day celebration and we are excited to take the stage with our new member tomorrow. Raphael Cunville has helped us a lot in the studio lately and we have been working on our new songs. You can expect us to play a few tomorrow at Freedom Rocks. At the pace we are working right now, our new album will be out by early 2013. we will keep you guys posted. “
The set entitled FREEDOM ROCKS will happen in Cloud 9 Restolounge at 10pm (Right after the last trials of the Karaoke World Championships) . The quartet will be belting out some good old altered rock classics and then some of their originals which shall all be lodged in your grey matter and you will not be disappointed. So be there!
